Why is there no display signal after pairing?
If the pairing is successful (LED is steady) but no image appears:
Check that your TV/Projector input is switched to the correct HDMI source.
Ensure the HDMI cable between the receiver and the display is securely connected.
Verify that your laptop's display settings are set to "Duplicate" or "Extend" (Press Win + P on Windows).
Can I install the receiver in a hidden location (e.g., behind a TV)?
No, this is not recommended. The VisionShare series utilizes 60GHz mmWave technology, which requires a clear Line-of-Sight (LOS) to function correctly. Placing the receiver behind a TV, inside a metal cabinet, or behind a ceiling panel will block the high-frequency signal and cause connection failures. Please mount the receiver on top of or below the display where it is visible.
How do I rename the Device ID (SSID)?
Yes. VisionShare A/AC series support device ID function by simply through OSD selection.
Step 1: Click set up button and open OSD to select "Device ID" section.
Step 2: Double click to device ID and change the name you would like to put it on.
Step 3: Press "Save" button and device ID has changed.
Does VisionShare support automatic time-zone synchronization?
Yes. VisionShare A/AC series support both online and offline clock setting.

Please connect LAN (RJ45) cable into VisionShare receiver and wait till check the IP address has found.
Select "Clock Setting" and click the button of "set local time from the internet".
<Offline time zone>
User is free to adjust time by their own and press "Save" button to update the local time.
How do I customize the startup wallpaper?
VisionShare A/AC series support user to change own start-up screen.
Step 1: Make sure USB dongle has set the format in “FAT32”.
Step 2: Save the image in 3840x2160 resolution with JPEG format on a USB dongle.
Step 3: Plug the dongle into the USB port built on the receiver and then select "Background" from the navigation bar. Choose "+" to add the new image.
Step 4: The intended image saved on the USB dongle is expected to show on the screen. Select the intended image and press "save" button.
Does the system support online firmware updates (OTA)?
Yes. VisionShare A/AC series support OTA function by simply through OSD selection with three steps only.
Step 1: Press set-up button to open OSD and select "System"
Step 2: Select "Advanced" button and "Online Update", then press "OK" to start running the process.
Step 3: Wait for complete the online process. The system will reboot automatically, please wait about 3-5 minutes until the start-up screen has shown up. During the OTA, please do not power off the system. After reboot the system, the OTA process has completed.
Does VisionShare feature a power-saving mode?
Yes. The system supports HDMI CEC and generic power-saving settings. You can configure the receiver to enter "Screen saver Mode" or turn off the display signal after a set period of inactivity to save energy and extend the lifespan of your display equipment.
